Telegram Help

Once you speak to the bot for the first time, you will be asked to confirm a few important things, like your acceptance of the terms of use as well as your age. Click the option with the green tick to continue.

You will be prompted to specify your description. This is useful because you want the character to know a bit about your species, what you look like, as well as your gender (if you want them to know).

Once you have entered a description, you will start chatting away!

Roleplaying Tips:

The character will be receptive to just about any scenario you want, it’s up to you to guide the conversation.

Put out of character suggestions in double parenthesis, for example:

(( Toddtrix secretly wants to kiss Max ))

Chances are the character will take the hint, if the conversation is going well.

If you get stuck or the conversation is not to your liking, you can use the “/clear” command to start over. You will not lose your own character description, but the bot will forget the conversation completely and start again.

Commands

There are several commands you can issue to the bot, you send these by typing a forward slash “/” followed by the word of the command, you can also click on the “menu” button:

The available commands are:

  • /clear โ™ป๏ธ Clear your chat partner’s memory and start again.
  • /self ๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Set the description for yourself / your character.
  • /attitude ๐ŸŽญ Set the bot’s initial attitude towards you.
  • /stickers ๐Ÿ˜ Toggle stickers on / off
  • /scene ๐ŸŽฌ Set the environment or starting scene that’s unfolding.
  • /response ๐Ÿงพ Set the response length.
  • /picture ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Generate a picture
  • /usage ๐Ÿ“ˆ View your usage statistics.
  • /feedback ๐Ÿ“จ Give us feedback.

/clear

This makes the character forget everything about the conversation except for what you have specified in /self. This is useful if the conversation ended up getting stale or you wish you had said something differently. Consider the “/attitude” and “/scene” modifiers to change up the conversation.

/Self

This description will be used by the bot every time they respond to you. This makes sure they won’t forget your name, your age, your appearance species and suchlike. You can’t make your /self younger than 18.

/attitude

This allows you to choose between a fix list of attitudes that the bot creator has specified. This has the biggest impact early on in the conversation, so we recommend you do a “/clear” immediately after for the best impact.

/stickers

Stickers are the life-blood of any furry chat on Telegram. Use this command to specify how you want to receive stickers, your options are:

  • Never – No stickers, the default
  • Occasional – You get a sticker about half the time, whenever the character experiences a different emotion
  • Frequent – You get a sticker every time the character experiences a different emotion
  • Debug – if you are curious to see how the sticker type is chosen

/Scene

This allows you to enter the scenario you are in. If you don’t enter a scenario, the character will imagine one, but it can be fun to imagine you are somewhere specific. Are you at a nice restaurant? A cocktail bar? Out on a hike? In space? The possibilities are limitless!

/Response

Set the length of the response you receive, this defaults to “role play” which is about 256 tokens.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Chat – 128 tokens, ~50 words, typically an action and dialogue
  • ๐ŸŽญ Roleplay – 256 tokens, ~ 100 words, 2 to 3 times actions and dialogue
  • ๐Ÿ“– Story – 512 tokens, ~ 300 words, many lines of actions and dialogue

The bot will use its own past responses as a guide for future responses, so if it’s been verbose in the past it will tend to remain verbose. It also has a tendency to get more wordy over time if you role play more with it.

/picture

When using this function, please consider our stance on AI generated images.

This allows you to generate an image of either “me” (user) or the bot (agent) or both of you together. After invoking the command, the bot will ask you whether you want to generate for:

  • me (the user)
  • you (the agent)
  • us (the scene, including the activity you are up to)

After you select your option, the bot will respond with the prompt it used to generate the image and then the image.

Image generation can take a long time and can sometimes fail, so please be patient and if it doesn’t generate after a few minutes, try again.

/usage

This gives you stats on your usage of the bot. A token is about 1/3 of a word. Your usage statistics reset every day. In time we will charge for usage over a certain limit, but we haven’t gotten that far yet!

/feedback

Please give us feedback! This will be read by an actual human and we will do our best to improve the service as we learn more about what people like and don’t like. Simply invoke the “/feedback” command and type in what you want to see.
